Life leads you where you’re meant to be. Others will try to take you down the same path they traveled. The dilemma becomes finding out who you are while also doing what you must. How do you live between what makes you happy and earning enough to survive?
You’re a “young” adult, attempting to figure out the world. After marriage, things got a lot more complicated. You took the advice of others, joining a business you never saw yourself in. Your marital ties had been rocky from the start, so you thought that in doing what they asked, you’d gap the bridge between.
For the next 10 months, you did what they asked, and then some. Out of it all, you learned not to work with family. Stress controlled you, taking over your health and even interjecting into your relationship with your newlywed spouse. Finally, you had enough and left.
Anticipating for the worst, you knew the treatment that was to come. Still, as you left their office, driving down A1A, you taste freedom. In the quarter century you had been living, you tasted freedom as had never before.
